In The Garden

Lord meet me in the garden
For my worries there are few.
Sitting on a garden bench
Waiting just for you.

I'm near a lovely fountain
It's so refreshing Lord to see .
The gentle flowing waters
Underneath a shady tree.

The air so fresh and cool
Gentle breezes passing through.
The beauty of the flowers
Reminds me Lord of you.

Beautiful beyond description
Magnificent, radiant and sweet .
I kneel before you precious Lord
In this garden where we meet.

So lovely, Lorie. I've been missing this place of yours, and the quietness and peace of it...your words refresh me, and the music does too. I love your mom/daughter picture!
Hope you are more rested now. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Love, Debra

Wow, Beautiful
You know even if you hadn't had that picture there, I was there as I was reading. Sitting wanting the Lord to sit beside me, and we chat awhile. Even though I do it now with him everywhere I go, and everywhere I am. And now my hubby and I have just made this in our backyard, it's a place for us to have our quiet time, our peace with the Lord, it's so beautiful, we are so proud, we have worked so hard back there, and we are now adding a fountain/pond with a water fall. This is something that we both will enjoy for many years. Oneday I will take pictures and post, when it is finished.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post.
Love ya
Sharon :)

I love the music playing on your site...it is so peaceful.
And I love the poems that you write during your time with the Lord. I used to do this so often and have gotten away from it.
I think when my mind is cluttered it does not flow as easily. Maybe it will return soon.

Beautiful words! I would love to be in this garden...sitting or laying in a hamock...Ahahah...sounds so peaceful and relaxing to me.
I can close my eyes and be there at least till one of the students thinks I'm asleep. LOL
Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

This is so beautiful Lorie. I think my favorite place to pray is in the garden. I think the garden is one of God's favorite places. ((hugz))

I love nature so much because I see God all around me!! That is the one thing I miss so much about apartment living--no garden!!

Thanks for sharing God's love with us!
