Hi Lord, It's Me Again..

I will not leave you comfortless:
I will come to you. (John 14:18)

Hi Lord, it’s me again
I sure do need a friend...

So many things have come my way
I really need to talk today.
I lay awake at night you see
So many things consuming me.
Many burdens bring me down
Hopeless feelings all around.

When I'm on my knees and pray
I feel those burdens lift away.

I feel your presence and
I know that you are near.
I’m basking in your glory and
You take away my fears.

You speak to me and say
That everything will be alright
You calm my restless spirit
And hold me closely through the night.

I did write this when I was feeling so lonely one night. I was carrying a heavy burden and just felt like no one but the Lord could understand.
I shared this poem today because there are many sisters who tell me they have been feeling a little lonely lately and I just wanted to share this poem of comfort and encouragement as a remider that the Lord is just a prayer away.

Another wonderful poem which speaks to my heart and the post before yes His grace is sufficent and how bless we are to be able to fall into his arms when we stand in need of strength.

Be blessed

Beautiful poem. I do feel lonely sometimes. My husband works out of town and my daughter will soon be leaving for college. Even tho she is home...she is in her room. Oh how I long for us to spend some good quality time together. I do have comfort that my God is with all the time. He never leaves me.
Thanks for this reminder.

Blessings,
Darlene

What a beautiul poem from a beautiful Christian lady. I love the picture of the little girl. As you stated you posted this because of what others were saying, that's how I post most of the time.

Lorie, Thank you for the poem. It did speak to me, and reminded me of so much He has done for me. Sometimes I couldn't even pray, and He'd answer anyway. Wonderful Prince of Peace He is.
