Celebrating Life

To celebrate life is to find joy in the simple things that we tend to overlook, or take for granted each day. Don't overlook the moments, because you can find so much to treasure and cherish in them, find something to celebrate each day.

*It‘s not about receiving material gifts… It’s about using my God given gifts to bless others.

*It’s not always about receiving flowers… It’s about going out to a garden and seeing the beauty of flowers alive and blooming, basking in the warmth of the sun.

*It’s not about finding fulfillment in the world… It's about being filled with gifts this world cannot offer, the gifts of the fruit of the spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Tenderness, Kindness, Goodness, Self Control, and Faithfulness.

*It’s not about how many friends I can find… It’s about cherishing the ones I already have.

*It’s not about impressing… It’s about being a blessing.

*It’s not about worrying... It’s about trusting.

*It’s not about busyness… It’s about being still.

*It’s not about preaching.. . It’s about teaching.

*It’s not about words… It’s about the actions.

*It’s not about writing a poem.. It’s being the poem

*It's not about pursuing... It's about the passion.

*It’s not about mistakes… It’s about the lessons.

*It’s not about tomorrow… It’s about today.

*It’s not about life… It’s about( living) life to the fullest.

*It’s not about arriving… It’s about the journey.

All I do know is that...

*It’s about a celebration of life, a celebration of living, not always expecting, but in giving.

*It's about treasuring the gifts of time and moments with family and friends.

*Most of all, and above all else... It's about my time with the Lord, seeking, and knowing him, more and more each day. The most precious gift he has ever given me was himself.

Every word of this post connected to my spirit right where I've been with the Lord. Thanks fot this confirmation. In the best situation on this earth with the best family, friencs, etc. there will be gaps...that's what I saw this weekend. The only....I mean only relationship that will never disappoint is our relationship with our Father through Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit. You said it so wonderfully. I'm convinced our humanness that will always be less than perfect is a good thing; because God always will be seen as the one to trust and adore.

He is the Friend that is utterly true and faithful.

Thanks again. You always have a blessing for me.

So very very close to the sermon preached this morning it is not about praiseing God for what He has done but becasue of who He is. What a wonderful reminder of what is really important and where we should focus our thoughts and attentions. As always I love your post. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautifully said. Thanks so much for sharing!

How is the weather there? My only time in Hawaii was very rainy. It was still beautiful, though. My Uncle lives on the Big Island over closer to the volcano. Brave guy...

Sweet Dreams!

Hi Lea,
I'm okay thanks for asking, I just have been busy with getting my materials to do a workshop for our womens retreat.

Kj,
The weather here is hot!!!, I'm originally from the Big Island, I was born and raised there. I wanted to go back when we retired but my hubby is from Kentucky and he does not want to be near a volcano lol. He is not that brave!!!

Ang..
Please free to use it, I can send it to you if you like *smile*.
