A Woman Of Encouragement

When God looks in a woman's soul
Oh what beauty does he behold.
He searches so very deep within
And finds a heart with love for him.

He looks into her wondrous eyes
And sees her spirit come alive.
He knows her heartache, and pain
Yet trust in her savior always remains.

Her heart is filled with words of hope
Always willing to help other's to cope.
No time to feel sorry or pity herself
She finds joy in helping somebody else.

She walks through life in a special way
Thankful and grateful for each new day.
God's words and promises she holds on to
She seeks him in prayer, and his strength
sees her through.

Encouraging women for Christ is her goal
She shows them his love, she cares for their souls.
Sharing words of truth, she helps them to see
That through Jesus Christ, they can be set free.

Lorie, this is a very beautiful poem! It sure reflects what you are to God and to us! I am so glad to meet you and many other women who fit so beautifully into the description of this poem.

"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates." Proverbs 31:30-31.

May God enables us continue to know Him, grow in Him and encourage one another to grow in our love for Him and His people! Thanks for sharing with us. Take care and have a blessed weekend!

Love in Christ,
Nancie

Hi Nancie
When I wrote this, I began to see all the faces of God's beautiful women who have touched my life. Beauty that all of you possess both inside and out. The spirit of God's gift of encouragement is so alive in the hearts of his daughters.

Lorie,
I needed that today!
I am just getting back to where I can sit more than 30 minutes. My back is improving.
My life is still in chaos!
But I needed to read that!
You have a special gift my friend.

Love Pamela

Hi Sistah's..

My prayer was that all of you would see how special you are as daughters of the king. Reaching out to other women is a such a Joy.
We all need each other and can learn from one another.

Cinnamongirl..
I am praying that I will be able to do a Woman's Devotional, and use these poems in them one day. I have a friend who does editing and has written many books who will be able to help me when I'm ready.

Hope..
Thank you for always keeping me in your prayers. You bless me more than you know.

Edie...
That is my favorite line of the poem as well, to share God's truth and seeing how the Holy spirit moves in a woman's life.

Alice..
You have been an encouragement to me as well, in more ways than you know. I know many ladies have been blessed, and I am one of them.

Pamela..
It is so good to see you, I was also glad to hear that your back is doing better. Please know that I will continue to keep you in prayer for a healing and touch of the master's hands upon your body.
