A Thirsty Soul

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. (Psalm 42 )

My soul is thirsty for you Lord
To drink of your living waters.
My soul longs to be near you.
To fellowship with you.

To...
Break bread with you.
Feast at your table.
Feed on your words.
Meditate on them.
Hide them in my heart

To...
Bask in your glory
Be in your presence

Feel your annointing
Sit at your feet.

To worship you in...
Spirit
Truth
Song
Dance.

To give you my...

Life
Self

Family
Heart
Mind
Soul
Love
Devotion
Dreams
Desires
Hopes
Concerns
Cares.

To Be ...
Refreshed
Restored
Renewed

Transformed
Obedient
Grateful
Captivated
Refined
Purified
Comforted

Healed
Made whole

This is my prayer unto you my Lord...
Help us to make time to stop and take a drink of your living water, and to graze upon your word so our souls can once again be refreshed and fed

Hope you are doing okay.
Would you put my husband on your prayer list. He is having problems in his lower back. I pray that God will heal him and he won't have to have surgery like I did. Thanks.

What are we going to do with these men? We can't have them sick, we need them to take care of us. (lol)I sure will pray that your husband's knee is okay. Mine went back to the Chiropractor today. He hurt a lot over the weekend but the pain had moved so I'm praying there's nothing surgically wrong. I went with him afterwards to help him get groceries. I road the cart but he pushed a buggy. I just can't walk very long on cement floors. I was no help at all. He took off with the list and I looked for the things I needed. He was done before me.
Thanks for your prayers,
Luv u,
AliceE.
(Let me know how your husband is doing.)

this is just wonderful...I wish that I could be staying in that moment forever where I could just walk with the Lord daily and just be in his presence...but as we live here on Earth I guess we have to make the most of it...I try to stay in that "awe" moment of God, but as the days and months go on...I sometimes stray...I would love to be filled with the spirit and stay among the Christians all day to be filled with such great peace and encouragement. I guess until we are with the Lord in heaven...we all just need to try our best =) thanks for sharing this beautiful poem...you always seem to inspire me and lift me up! there is always hope for tomorrow =)
