Longing

Dear Lord...

I long for blue and sunny skies
Wind on my face, as I close my eyes.
For open fields so I can run free
For precious moments alone with thee.

I long for raindrops from above

Rainbows filled with colors of love.
To dwell in your garden of grace
And talk with you face to face.

I long for your touch and for hope
Strength for tomorrow courage to cope.
Wings to reach the mountain tops
Power to prevail and endless trust.

I long to be filled with your joy again
Lift up my spirit, Lord help me to stand.
Free my mind, my soul, and my heart
Of all that will keep you and I apart.

Lord, this is my prayer, and soul desire
I need more of your spirit, and holy fire.
Refresh me, restore me, and renew...
A right spirit within me, that pleases you.

What you wrote is exactly how I feel. I don't remember if I wrote you or not but after taking some cholesterol medicine I got real dizzy headed and have not been myself for several weeks. You can read on several of my posts about what is going on. I started physical therapy for the dizziness yesterday. The ENT dr. said medicine would not help this but after a month of therapy it will go away. I do believe that God is taking care of me and holding me in His arms. Without that hope I could not make it. I am not posting right now, I just am not myself. There were some other things wrong but that is all in my previous posts. I will try to do an update soon. If it were not for prayers of my friends here I don't know what I would do. You have been through so much and I hate to ask but I do need your prayers. I have tried to pray and I do for all who are having problems as well, but sometimes it feels like this is never going away. But that is a lie of the devil and I refuse to believe it.
You have been such a blessing to me and others.
God bless you.
