Love Is Jesus

Love took me in when I was lost
Love died for me and paid the cost.

Love never once gave up on me
Love saw the best that I could be.

Love washed all my sins away
Love purified my heart one day.

Love took away all hurt and pain
Love made my soul whole again

Love lives and dwells inside of me
Love is Jesus, who set me free.

Love has already paid the price
Love is Jesus, giver of life

I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog, I am very new to this and always want to be an encouragement somehow. You truly have a gift, many gifts in fact - I share your love of music and am encredibly blessed to be part of the praise team at my church here in georgia. I love to sing, it doesn't matter where I am. I thank God for the chance to praise him any time I get it.
Blessings,
Donna

Beautiful poem. I am so glad HE loves me. Thanks for this reminder. Pray for me... I may not have a job due to lack of funding. There is a meeting at state capitol today. Pray for our leaders and for them to see the importance of my job and how this will affect the school and children I work at.

Lorie, thanks so much for this poem, and for your comments about Jim, my neighbor, on my blog. I know you've been praying. He does need a miracle.

I want you to know, I'm tagging you. The rules are posted on my blog, so come on over and play!
Love, Debra

Another beautiful poem about God's love. What would we do without His love. I don't understand how people exist without the love of God in their hearts. I had an aunt who went blind when she was 13. I'm not sure it was ever determined why this happened to her, but she was a precious person. She went to blind school, she worked, she married and they had a child who has the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. My aunt use to play the piano and sing. My favorite song that she did was "The Love of God". Even though she could not see, I believe she saw the love of God in her heart. She's been gone for a while but I know that one day I will see her again.
Thanks for sharing your "heart" with us.

Yes God's love never fails. The words to Jesus Loves Me still are key to my hope in God.

He loves me, not because I'm loveable...He loves me because the Bible tells me so. He loved me before I ever knew or loved Him.

Your blog truly is an encouragement for my heart!
