Dancing With The Holy Spirit

I sit alone, in the quietness of the night, thinking is everything really alright. Finding it hard to put into words how I’m feeling, or the way I’m dealing, while my mind is reeling. I know better than to doubt, or question how he will work things out.

I know I need to leave it all in his hands; there is no one else who truly understands. Expressing emotions, that rises like waves in the ocean. Do you trust me I hear him say, don’t let doubt overtake you today. You need to be strong, you need to hold on, and come to a place where you belong.

Down on my knees, that is where I need to be, not giving the enemy a chance, to take me in his arms and dance… to the song of doubt. I ‘m suddenly filled with power, as I tarry in prayer this hour, I stand and push the enemy back, no longer allowing him to attack.

The Holy Spirit makes an entrance, and gracefully takes over the dance, giving me another chance, to have victory over my circumstance. We dance, flowing together, to the songs of peace, and soon my doubts begin to cease, my faith is increased.

He speaks ever so gently and says.. Everything will be alright, keep dancing in the Holiness of God's perfect light.

Beautiful! I needed this.

He is a wonderful partner but following His lead isn't always easy for us, humans.

Lori, A great post. David danced before the Lord so I know we can dance with the Holy Spirit leading. Thanks for reminding me. Your poem on the sidebar I know comes from the heart of God to your heart to encourage all of us. Your name is mentioned everytime I pray. I do feel God is taking care of you and using you to further His Kingdom.
Luv u, my Sistah,

Down on my knees is where I need to be. That is the key isn't it.

Wonderful . . . just the reinforcement I needed. I feel the Spirit telling me to step out in boldness and courage in several areas of my life. Thanks for the encouragement.
