Grace Flows Down

Grace flowing down gently from the heavens above,
Like a ray of sunshine filled with the warmth of the sun.
Just as a light rain sprinkles over the earths foundation.
Landing on delicate flowers and tender shoots with care.

Flowing freely, as eagles wings soaring downwards
Dancing with the wind, and waltzing with the breeze.
Like waterfalls streaming down the mountain sides
To the thirsty valleys below, that longs for a refreshing.

Grace flowing softly without a sound, unnoticed
Quietly making its way into many longing hearts.
Sufficient grace, enough for all to receive freely
Grace that gives an undeserving soul pardon.

Grace flowing down, gently from the heavens above
Grace so pure, filled with a love that will not let go.
For by grace, souls have been saved through faith
God's amazing gift , God's amazing grace.

What would we do without the grace of God? So beautifully written, God's Grace is sufficient for all our needs.

Hello Lady, we enjoy warmth because we have been cold.
We appreciate light because we have been in darkness.
By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.

Aloha and keep a song in your heart. Lee.

Hi Lorie!
I know I've been AWOL for a good many weeks, but I wanted to drop in and say thank you for all your prayers. I'm doing so much better now.

Your beautiful poem is so visual! God's grace does come down like that. You can almost see it in your poem.
Hugs and smiles,
Patricia :o)

What a lovely poem! I enjoyed reading this, and grace is truly amazing! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us on grace and for sharing your lovely creation in honor of God. :-)

Are you familiar with Max Lucado? He wrote a wonderful book entitled IN THE GRIP OF GRACE. He also wrote my all time favorite book NO WONDER THEY CALL HIM THE SAVIOR. Love them both.

Happy Spiritual Sunday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

So beautiful! I'm not sure which is more true, that the more we get to know the Lord, the more we know about His grace towards us --- or the more we get to know about His grace, the closer we are drawn to Him. Which ever it is, it is beautiful. I think I was forever changed the first time I heard the song, "Were it not for Grace."
Thanks for such a beautiful reminder today. May we all grow in grace!
