Trusting Through The Tears

Psalm 56:8 Says.. You keep track of all my sorrows, you have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

When life seems unfair
Struggles take your strength.
When your I can’s get harder
And they turn into I can’t.

When you fight against worry
And battle with your fears
God sees it all and he cares
Keep trusting through the tears.

When you feel so all alone
In all that you’re going through
And trying to stay positive
Becomes so hard to do.

When desires become few
You cannot stand and cheer
During times of sadness
Keep trusting through the tears.

The Lord knows there are times in our afflictions, we get very weary in our souls and we cry out to him. And he comes down to where we are at that moment, and like the father he is takes us in his arms of comfort. Words need not be spoken, for the heart hears his whispers, as he speaks his words and promises of courage to our souls
He says….
Have I not commanded you, be strong and of good courage, for I will be with you everywhere you go. Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine .

♥ I felt every teardrop when in darkness you cried, and I lovingly remind you , that for those tears I died... Love Jesus

♥ "Tears are the strength of women."

♥ "Tears are permitted to us, but they must glisten in the light of faith and hope..."

♥ " In Heaven, we will see that nothing, absolutely nothing, was wasted, and that every tear counted and every cry was heard."

♥ " TEARS ARE PRAYERS, TOO (Something to think about)

Lori, I simply love this. What a great start to my Sunday morning. I am going to Psalm 56:8. I don't remember reading this and if I did, then I didn't digest it as I should have. I love that you put tears are prayers too! Love it!
Thank you. I love that my blog buddies add so much to my busy life that I would have otherwise missed. Love and continued blessings in your poetry, spiritual walk and blog journey!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful encouraging post.
"I felt every teardrop when in darkness you cried, and I lovingly remind you , that for those tears I died." This line of that song was always so meaningful to me. I haven't sung it in years. I'm glad for the reminder.
Have a blessed Lord's Day.

Beautiful. What would we do without God? I don't know how people who don't know Him exist. I'm so glad I found Him at an early age and He keeps teaching me things the older I get. He is truly Great.
From my heart to yours,
AliceE.

Hi Lori... my kindred sister... beautiful poem from the heart of someone who knows pain but more importantly from someone who knows the One who comforts and cares for us in the midst of our pain.

By the way... I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to come to Hawaii and speak at your church... just let me know when!! How fun it would be to hug you in person!

Keep encouraging...

This is a great post, Lori. Trusting through the tears is important to understand. God doesn't always answer our prayers when we want him to so we shed many tears. It is a test of our faith which is much more precious than fine gold. We must keep believing. Thank you for reminding us.

Have a wonderful day,
Blessings,
Cheryl

There is something about those scriptures that just lifts up my spirit every time I read them:

"Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you, be strong and of good courage, for I will be with you everywhere you go."

Isaiah 43:1 - Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Tears are prayers, too . . . thanks for sharing and inspiring me to think about this.

Tears cleanse the soul and help us to find our way beyond the cloudiness and into the light.

You are loved.
