Blogoversary Giveaway

Mama Pearl, my favorite teatime Sistah Bear, wanted to be in the picture with our giveaway. She loves pearls and tea, and is always there beside me when I write, read my bible, blog, and she listens to my prayers.

I celebrated my two year blogoversary this month, and I just wanted to do something special for all those who have shared their Love, Prayers, Encouragement, and Sisterness, with me during my blogging journey with the Lord. I know there are some of you brothers out there who follow my blog, you can win this for that special woman in your life as well. I will announce the winner on Monday June 15, 2009.

All you need to do is to..

1- Leave an encouraging scripture, quote, or message from your heart.
2- Sign my guestbook , I love meeting new friends, seeing your faces, and where you are visiting from. Both of these will add your name twice in the drawing.

For those who have already signed thank you so much,
don't forget to leave an email address on your comments so I can contact you if you are a winner. Thank you again for visiting "Encouragement From My Heart." and blessing me with your visits.

These are the Gifts that I am giving away..you can click on the photos for better viewing of the items.

An awesome book by author Dorothy Valcarel. How could a man with no wife, no children, no home, job, or money, and wandered the hills of Judea with twelve men relate to women. This is the question that led Dorothy to search for biblical women whose lives intersected with Jesus. She discovers every woman Jesus met, who faced many of the same challenges women encounter today, you can read more about this book here.

This beautiful green keepsake life mosaic, filled with beautiful words of Hope and Encouragement by my favorite poet: Maya Angelou.

Here is a sample of one of the many pages filled with Maya's beautiful words that will will touch the deepest parts of your soul, and minister to your spirit in times when words of courage, and hope, is needed in your life.

A beautiful Garden Magnet designed by: Marijolein Bastin called Aimant a motif.

A pretty fold out frame also by: Marjolein Bastin with a beautiful saying..
"The Best things in life are the people we love, the places we've been, and the memories we have made along the way.

Frame folded out, and a place for three photos.

A Bookmark with Psalm 34:1 scripture on one side, and a wonderful word of praise using the letters P.R.A.I.S.E. By Jack W. Hayford.

Hallmark stickers filled with four pages of acid free encouragement stickers, you can use for scrap booking and other crafts.

And finally a booklet I put together called: "Embracing Change On My Journey," filled with affirmations that will speak to your spirit, and minister to your soul. You can take it with you in your purse, or keep in your bible. This booklet has blessed many women in my workshops. I will give five of these booklets away to five lucky winners.

Here is a sample of what is in the booklet..

Here is one of my all time favorite scriptures. It's my life scripture:

NASB:Jeremiah {29:11}
'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
{29:12} 'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
{29:13} 'You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Amen! Love and blessings to you!

Lorie, I agee with the others that your blog is such a gift to us everytime we open it. It blesses me. Your way with words and letting God speak thru you is such a gift.
I've been studying Philippians and was looking at Chap. 2 verses 1 and 2.
I'm condensing it but I feel it speaks to your blog how you unite us in Christ. I'm sure we all come from different denominational backgrounds, but your blog honors Christ and Christ alone.

If you have any encouragment from being united with Christ...then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

Thank you for sharing your heart,

Joy
