My Secret Place
Within me there is a silent place
A place where I can feel whole...
Where God’s presence abides
In the secret places of my soul.
Silence, peace, and tranquility
Calmness and sweet serenity...
Pure thoughts, upon holy ground
In my secret place it all abounds...
Within me there is a quiet place
Away from all of life’s despairs...
Where I can always run to
And find him waiting there.
Joy, holiness, and intimacy
Stillness, and simplicity...
All here in my secret place
Where I go to seek his face.
Within me is a healing place
Filled with never ending grace...
Where he has made me whole
In the secret places of my soul
