The Door Of Life

I marvel at the wonder of it all
When I step outside the door
The door of life awaits me
Each and everyday.

Mine to enjoy, to bask in
To dwell in, to celebrate,
To cherish, to appreciate,
Each and every minute.

Life filled with miracles
Some seen and unseen
Waiting to be discovered
Each and every moment.

Never waste a day
A minute, a moment
The door of life awaits...
Open it.

Lorie,

Thanks for reminding me that every moment is a precious gift of life and to soak it all up. I want to be in the present moment enjoying everything God has for me and my husband. God has been challenging and moving me in this direction recently. Every moment...nonetheless, every present moment! Amen?!?

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for you my Sistah! You spur me on! Thank you!

Love,
Nicole

Lori,

I've sent you a reply email, but I want to make sure you get this ASAP. I need a street address. Come back and see the rules. The Publisher won't send to a PO.

A beautiful poem. Yes, we should embrace every moment of our life.
May God bless you with "joy unspeakable and full of glory".

I love the picture of the white grand piano. My husband has rebuilt grands for over 30 years and he has such a passion for this. Of course he is partially retired now and does not rebuild anymore but he has taken some very bad looking grands and made a work of art out of them. Sorta like Jesus does with an old "sinner", cleans him up and washes him white as snow. I would love to have a copy of that picture to put in my screensaver if you could send it to my by email. If not it's okay.
Hugs and prayers,
AliceE.

Lorie,

I love it! What a great reminder. It reminds me of a time before Jesus was my Lord when I dreaded the day before me . . . How that has changed! I too now wake each day excited about what lays before ahead because He is in it all.

Smiles,

Rachel

Oh, I love the pictures and poems you post!!

And this is exactly what God has enabled me to do--open the door of my life--open my heart to others. Every day is a new and exciting amazement. Where will God led me today? Where would I be without him?

If you're interested, stop by The Power of Your Love. I posted my testimony this morning.

Yes...Yes and again yes, the gift of life is precious. During some tough times emotionally and relaitonally God showed me a picture of someone struggling with physical illness and how they would swap with me in a moment to battle my struggles. That day I decided to look to God for every wonderful thing in every day that I might ordinarily overlook. Now, life has smoothed out of that "rough" place; but God has kept me with this awareness of the wonder of life itself.

Thank you for the poem that expressed this so wonderfully.

I am thankful for many things today, and cyberspace and blogging and therefore the priviledge of knowing and loving you through blogging is high on my list.

Have a blessed, healthy, glorious day of thanksgiving.

Love ya'
Kay
